A number of 28 Scout Leaders, 11 Rovers and 15 Scouts from Sabah attended the 2nd ASEAN Scout Jamboree at Cibubur, Indonesia from the 16th to 28th october, 2008.
The 54 person Sabah Scouts Contingent is the largest state contingent out of the 75 participantion from whole Malaysia.
A memorable day for Sabah Scouts and PPM in general where one of Sabah Scouters was selected to recite the prayers during the Opening Ceremony which was officialized by His Exellency the President of Indonesia himself.
As the State Contingent Chief, it was to my great honour to be blessed with a team of committees and participants with exceptional working commitment, discipline and totally "in a class definitely of their own".
